Aradus is fixing it.
Aradus is building the AI-native operating system for global supply chains. They are replacing manual chaos with a single, intelligent platform that automates operations end-to-end. They aren't just pitching a slide deck — they have a live product, active customers, and a production codebase.They are a small, highly technical founding team, and they are looking for their Employee #1.
The RoleThis isn’t a role where you pull well-defined Jira tickets from a backlog. As Founding Engineer, you will operate across the entire stack, make foundational architectural decisions, and ship relentlessly.
You will work directly with the founders to shape the product, the engineering culture, and the trajectory of the company. You will identify what actually matters, build it, and iterate based on real-world friction.
What You Will Own
Autonomous AI Systems: You won’t be building basic chatbot wrappers. You will architect agents that process messy, unstructured data, execute complex multi-step workflows, and build organizational memory over time.Resilient Data Pipelines: You will design scalable ingestion and reconciliation pipelines that handle multiple third-party integrations with strict idempotency, deduplication, and retry strategies.Core Platform Architecture: You will drive full-stack development on their multi-tenant TypeScript SaaS, handling complex domain logic, real-time syncs, and heavy background job orchestration.Product Trajectory: You will talk to users, understand the deep complexities of global logistics, and translate those insights directly into the codebase.
Who You Are
Builder of agentic systems. You understand tool calling, multi-step reasoning, structured outputs, and context management using modern TypeScript AI frameworks (e.g., Mastra) and APIs like Gemini, Claude, or OpenAI.Startup DNA. You bias toward action and know how to cut scope intelligently without breaking long-term architecture.Full-stack pragmatist. You are as comfortable designing a robust database schema as you are building snappy frontend components. They are a TypeScript shop.(Bonus) Founder empathy. Even if it didn’t work out, you understand the stakes, pace, and ownership required at zero-to-one stage.(Bonus) AI in production. You have deployed, monitored, and scaled real AI workflows and agentic systems in live environments — not just local scripts or prototypes.
