About the OpportunityThe company is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to develop, implement, and maintain its information security framework, oversee security operations, and lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning. The role requires strong technical depth, leadership capability, and close collaboration with senior stakeholders across the organization.
Role SummaryThe Information Security Manager will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets across infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms. The role spans governance, risk management, security operations, audits, incident response, and continuous improvement of security controls.
Key Responsibilities• Develop, implement, and maintain an organization-wide information security program aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements • Design, implement, and monitor security controls across networks, infrastructure, endpoints, applications, and cloud environments • Lead security risk assessments, internal audits, and compliance initiatives • Manage security incidents, investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans • Manage the full lifecycle of IT security projects, including planning, implementation, and risk management • Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies • Produce regular security metrics, dashboards, and reports for management • Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to security team members
Required Experience and Skills• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline • Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Security or IT, including risk management and security governance • Strong knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls • Hands-on experience with network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, IDS IPS, proxy servers, and network access control • Experience securing LAN, WAN, Wi Fi, and remote access infrastructure, including segmentation and zero trust principles • Solid experience with endpoint and server security, including antivirus, EDR XDR, patch management, and system hardening • Working knowledge of cloud security across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including identity management, MFA, and shared responsibility models • Experience with identity and access management including Active Directory, Azure AD, RBAC, privileged access management, and access reviews • Strong background in security operations including SIEM platforms, log monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and incident response • Knowledge of data protection and encryption standards including DLP, AES, RSA, and PKI • Familiarity with application and web security, including OWASP Top 10, web application firewalls, API security, and vulnerability assessments • Experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders • Fluency in EnglishSecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CompTIA Security Plus, CCNA, or equivalent are considered an advantage.
