• Support the review of financial models, forecasts and business cases, making sure assumptions, inputs and outstanding decisions are documented and followed through
• Coordinate finance activities for entity establishment, including ADGM and FSRA-regulated entities where applicable

• Recommend practical improvements to project governance and departmental performance
Project prioritisation and planning
• Consolidate ongoing and planned initiatives into a central project portfolio, with clear objectives, scope, owners, milestones and deliverables
• Support management in prioritising projects by strategic importance, urgency, dependencies and available resources
• Develop and maintain an integrated delivery plan, identifying capacity constraints and recommending how to sequence activities
• Turn management priorities into actionable work plans and track execution
Project coordination and delivery
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams involving internal stakeholders, consultants and transaction counterparties
• Monitor milestones, deliverables, risks, issues and dependencies, and escalate matters that need management attention
• Organise virtual and in-person meetings, prepare focused agendas, document decisions and follow up on actions
• Track external advisers' deliverables against agreed scopes and timelines
• Help the team resolve bottlenecks and keep priority projects moving
Essential Experience
• At least 7 years' relevant experience across corporate finance, budgeting, board presentation preparation and project management, with substantial project delivery responsibility
• Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting and corporate finance, and the ability to engage with finance teams and external advisers
• Degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field
• Buy-side experience within an investment group, family office or private equity firm, ideally involving M&A, carve-outs, new entity establishment or regulated environments
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, practical experience with project management and reporting tools, and the ability to interpret financial models and management information
Desirable
• Project management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2, and/or professional finance qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA or CMA
• Power BI experience
• Wider financial services experience, particularly in regulated environments
Key Competencies
• Structures complex workloads and turns priorities into clear, achievable plans
• Practical, hands-on approach to improving efficiency and driving delivery
• Sound judgement in prioritising competing demands and escalating issues
