JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Business Analyst – Payments & Cash Management
Role Summary
Support a portfolio of wholesale banking transformation initiatives at a UAE-based financial institution, with a focus on payments, cash management and transaction banking. You will work alongside business and product owners and the Technology, Operations, Risk and Compliance teams to define requirements, document processes and support solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria and business rules for payments and cash management initiatives
Document current and target-state processes, including process maps, SOPs, working instructions, roles, controls and operational requirements
Support delivery of corporate payments, collections, liquidity and account management, and transaction banking solutions, including digital channels
Prepare and coordinate UAT, clarify requirements with Technology, support defect resolution and prepare the business for go-live
Run workshops independently and engage senior stakeholders
Manage multiple workstreams with limited supervision
Essential Experience
5+ years' relevant experience across banking and financial services, business analysis, transformation or technology-enabled change, at Assistant Manager level or equivalent and above
Strong payments and cash management domain knowledge: corporate payments, collections, liquidity and account management, transaction banking and associated digital solutions
Strong business analysis and transformation delivery capability: requirements gathering, business requirements, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria and business rules
Experience documenting current and target-state processes, process maps, SOPs, working instructions, roles, controls and operational requirements
Experience supporting solution delivery through UAT preparation and coordination, requirements clarification, defect resolution and business readiness
Able to independently facilitate workshops, engage senior stakeholders and manage multiple activities with limited supervision
Strong written English and the ability to produce high-quality business documentation
Desirable
UAE / GCC banking experience (strongly preferred)
Experience with payment hubs, cash management platforms or the UAE payment infrastructure
