We are hiring on behalf of a client for a Product Owner to support the delivery and continuous improvement of a no-code regulatory reporting platform and its backend processing engine.This is a product delivery role focused on business analysis, product specification, data transformation workflows, client engagement and cross-functional delivery within the RegTech and financial services space.

Product OverviewThe main platform is a no-code data transformation tool that transforms client trade data into regulatory reports. It provides an easy-to-use interface for managing complex workflows and reduces the need for development and testing teams to manage changes to regulatory reporting solutions.
The backend engine processes data using transformation logic configured within the platform. It also includes a desktop tool that can be executed locally, enabling secure data processing without the need to share data outside the server environment. Several legacy solutions continue to operate exclusively on the backend engine.
Role Summary The Product Owner will manage the analysis, specification and delivery of the client’s regulatory reporting platform and backend processing engine.This role requires a strong combination of business analysis, data expertise, regulatory reporting understanding and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with development, QA, sales, client-facing teams and the Head of Product to deliver high-quality product features and improvements.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of product features from concept through to releaseTranslate product roadmap items into detailed epics, user stories and acceptance criteriaWork closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliveryAct as the primary point of contact for product-related queries during developmentInterpret product features and regulatory requirements into clear functional and technical specificationsDocument requirements with sufficient detail, including edge cases and validation scenariosAct as a subject matter expert in client interactionsSupport client onboarding, training sessions, product demonstrations and workshopsManage and resolve client queries related to data, logic and product functionalityGather and prioritise client feedback to inform product improvementsOwn business testing and UAT for new features and enhancementsHelp ensure high product quality while minimising defects and reworkWork closely with QA on testing, validation and release readinessSupport sales teams with product demos and technical explanationsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product adoption and deliveryIdentify opportunities to improve user experience, functionality and performanceSuggest enhancements to improve client experience, scalability and automationContribute to product processes, best practices and continuous improvementMaintain product documentation, including specifications and release notesEnsure product knowledge is documented and transferable across the team
