For a client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join a high-performing technology team delivering scalable, secure, and automated cloud platform solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong AWS, automation, and infrastructure expertise to help drive engineering excellence across a complex enterprise environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, maintain, and optimise scalable cloud platform solutions within AWS environmentsDevelop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable secure and efficient software deliveryWork closely with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to implement robust platform solutionsContribute technical expertise into wider architecture and engineering strategy discussionsMonitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiencyCreate and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure policies
Required Skills & ExperienceExtensive experience as a Senior Platform Engineer or similar DevOps/Infrastructure roleStrong AWS experience across services such as EC2, API Gateway, NLB, ASG, and related cloud technologiesHands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools including CloudFormation or TerraformStrong experience with Jenkins pipelines, multibranch deployments, and Groovy scriptingExperience with GitHub Actions, scripting, and automation toolingStrong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes container technologiesSolid Linux administration and troubleshooting skillsExperience with Chef configuration management and debuggingPython scripting experience for automation and operational tasksAbility to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, product managers, analysts, and infrastructure teams
